James Hollis died after being kicked on the ankle.
He was the licensee of the Junction Hotel on Station Road and had been forcibly ejecting a man from his premises when he was kicked in the ankle.
James Hollis died from cellulitis and blood poisoning.
A man was charged with his manslaughter but the charge was ultimately dismissed.
An open verdict was returned.
