Arthur Swinler

Arthur Swinler was found in the bottom of the hold of the trawler Electra at Hull.

He was last seen on the Wednesday after he had gone out looking for work.

He was still alive when he was found with a fractured skull but died upon removal.

He was found by accident as the hold was about to be filled with tons of ice that would have buried him.

There was no evidence as to how he had got there.
