Nathaniel Brown was stabbed to death at a party in Launcelot Road in Downham, Lewisham.

Three teenagers were tried for his murder at the Old Bailey but acquitted after one of them claimed he had acted in self-defence.

It was said that Nathaniel Brown was stabbed as he was trying to break up a fight over cannabis in the living room of the property. He was found slumped over a toy box after the fight.

He was taken by an ambulance to the hospital at 4am but died an hour later.

The three teenagers that were tried fled after the fight and in court one of them admitted stabbing Nathaniel Brown, but said that Nathaniel Brown had tried to stab him. It was also heard at the trial that Nathaniel Brown and a friend of his had tried to rob the three teenagers.

The door to the house had been kicked off of its hinges.
