The police later launched a no-body murder investigation after she had not been seen for some time and she was later found in the airing cupboard at her boyfriend's house.
He was convicted for preventing the lawful burial of a body and perverting the course of justice.
The pathologist said that her cause of death could not be determined because of the state of decomposition but noted that she could have been strangled as there were marks on her neck.
