Jacey Charles was stabbed to death outside the Drummonds nightclub in Marsh Wall.
He had got involved in an argument outside the club and was approached by four men. The argument then became violent and he was stabbed.
He was taken to the Royal London Hospital but soon died.
The police later spoke to about 75% of the people that had been at the club and four men were later arrested but no one was charged.
He was an IT consultant.
