Robert Hutchinson

Robert Hutchinson was last seen in Corporation Road, Hendon on 23 June 2014 at about 6.20pm.

In July 2014 three men were arrested in relation to his disappearance. One man was arrested on suspicion of murder whilst the other two were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. However, no further actions were taken against them.

He was later seen the same day in CCTV at the Asda petrol station, on Leechmere Industrial Estate at 4.40pm, putting petrol into his car.

Shortly after his disappearance, his blue Nissan Micra car, registration LT03 0ZJ, was found abandoned at the end of Stewart Street, just off Chester Road close to the Chester's Pub. It was thought that it had been parked sometime overnight on Monday 23 June into Tuesday 24 June 2014.

The police believe that he was later caught on CCTV at Lumley Tower.

The police later said that they thought that he had been murdered. However, his body has not been found.
