Place: Hanover Road, Kensal Rise
The body of a newly born child was found in a parcel in Hanover Road, Kensal Rise.
The parcel was found by a man on a vacant piece of land and when he opened it he found the body of the dead male child wrapped up in a shawl with a piece of tape tied tightly around it's neck and a piece of cloth stuffed into its mouth.
A doctor said that it was clear that the child had lived and that its death was due to asphyxia caused by the tape around its neck and the gag in its mouth.
The Coroner noted that according to some articles found in the parcel with the child, some perpetrations had been made for its birth which seemed to suggest a nursing home.
