Baby

The body of a newly-born child, wrapped up in a parcel was given to a 12-year old boy by a woman in the Royal Victoria Gardens.

She had asked him to look after it whilst she went to look for two girls. However, she didn't come back and when the boy handed the parcel to a park keeper who opened it, it was found to contain the body of a dead female infant.

The child’s death was stated to have been due to want of attention at birth.
