Henry Charles Rosenbloom

Age: 34

Sex: male

Date: 13 Mar 1931

Place: London

Henry Charles Rosenbloom vanished on 13 March 1931 on his way to Paris.

He was last heard of in London and his luggage arrived in Paris but was left unclaimed.

He had been on a business trip through Europe and Egypt.

Henry Rosenbloom had been working for Messrs. Samuel Rosenbloom and Bros., wine and cigar shippers.

When he had left he had had about £50 in cash on him and about £300 in cheques in Cooks and letters of credits, but none of them were cashed.

He was said to have had no financial worries and had been looking forward to his trip when he had left.

His brother said that he thought that Henry Rosenbloom must had taken his ticket to Paris as his luggage had been sent on in advance. He also said that he feared foul play.

Henry Rosenbloom had served during the War with the 17th Highland Light Infantry and was later commissioned to the Royal Seaforths but was seriously wounded on the Somme in 1916.
