Baby

The body of a newly-born child was found dead in the Serpentine at Hyde Park.

The body was found by children near the Hyde Park Lido who thought that the body was a doll floating in the water.

When the attendant dragged the supposed doll ashore he found that it was the body of a six-week old baby girl with a rope tied round its neck.
