Stephen Hooton died from a fractured skull.
His death was described as mysterious.
He was a general labourer and had lived at 2 Tucker's Yard on Tamworth Road in Long Eaton.
He had fallen from the Park wall into Newcastle Terrace in Nottingham.
His widow said that he had been out of work for a long time and had been spending each day looking for work and that sometimes he went into Derby and on other occasions he rode into Nottingham.
