Terry Buckley was shot in Grove End Road, St John's Wood.
His murder was thought to have been a contract killing that had been ordered after he seriously upset a major drugs dealer.
He was shot in the back of the head at point blank range.
It was thought to have been a tit-for-tat attack linked to the cannabis and cocaine markets around the Kilburn, Paddington and Harlesden areas.
Terry Buckley was said to have upset a drug dealer but was not thought to have been involved in crime himself.
