Stephen Cairns was shot in a Mercedes car by a person on a motorbike.
He had just left the Earl Derby pub in Kensal Town by car with a friend at around 3.30pm on Saturday 16 June 2002 when two people on a motorbike drew up beside them on the Kensal Road and fired into the car. Both Stephen Cairns and the driver were hit although the driver survived.
