Damion Vernon

Damion Vernon disappeared in December 2014 after going off to Sheffield to buy a new car.

He didn't arrive in Sheffield and his blue Vauxhall Corsa car, registration number YH51 FLL, was later found in Sycamore Street in Wakefield.

In their search for him, the police reviewed hundreds of hours of CCTV and carried out a 35-mile search of the River Calder.

The police said that there was no evidence of criminal activity linked to his disappearance.

Damion Vernon was white, 6ft tall, had a slim build, and short, wavy, light-brown hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing a mustard-coloured bodywarmer, a green long-sleeved woollen jumper and jeans.
