The body of a newly-born female child was found at Kennoway.
It was found wrapped up in a parcel in a field on Auchtermairnie Mill by two men who were attracted to it after their greyhound dogs started barking at it.
The post-mortem stated that the child was fully developed and had been born alive, and that it had died about two to three weeks earlier.
