Mark Thompson was found dead in a flat at Leazes Court, near St James’ Park in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
He was found in the early hours of Sunday morning, 25 May 2014.
A 50-year-old man was arrested in connection with his death shortly after but released with the police saying that he would face no further action.
His post mortem was inconclusive.
