Sophie Rosser

Sophie Rosser died in a fire.

She had rushed into the building after seeing that it was on fire in order to warn her fiance. However, she became overcome with smoke and died.

The Coroner ruled that her death could have been avoided but that they did not know who to blame. It was heard that if there had been more clarity over responsibility that corporate manslaughter charges could have been brought.

However, it was ruled that her death had been accidental.
