Kaspars Ajuts died in a fire at a terraced house in Marsham Street, Maidstone.
It was not known how the fire had started although it was heard that it might have been started by someone. The fire brigade said that the fire had started in Kaspars Ajuts's son's room and that it had been caused by a 'human act'. His inquest heard that the fire might have been started by a dropped cigarette but it was also heard that there was no evidence for that.
