David Willis

Age: 30

Sex: male

Date: 15 Sep 2018

Place: Timmins Waste, Mander Street, Wolverhampton

David Willis vanished on 15 September 2018. It was thought that he had entered some industrial machinery after which he had been disposed of at a landfill site.

He was reported missing by his family on 17 September, two days after he failed to return home from work. He had worked at Timmins Waste Services Ltd in Manders Road, Wolverhampton.

It was thought that he had entered some industrial machinery in which he was killed and that the contents of the machinery were taken to Poplars Landfill Site in Cannock the following day.

However, his body has not been found.

A search for his body at the Poplars Landfill Site was made over two months without success. The material that David Willis was thought to have been possibly mixed up with was delivered to the landfill site on 16 September 2018.

The police said that no one was arrested in relation to his disappearance but that one employee at Timmins Waste was interviewed under caution and that various criminal charges were being considered by the West Midlands Police including gross negligence and manslaughter and corporate manslaughter.

His inquest heard that his cause of death was 'unascertainable'.

Timmins Waste Services Ltd was a family run business that offered skip hire and recycling services.
