Satnam Singh was attacked in Atlee Road, Hayes on 6 March 2017 and died nearly three months later on Tuesday 23 May 2017.
He had been walking along Atlee Road near the junction with Ayles Road with a friend at about 10.20pm when a silver car pulled up and a white man got out and attacked the two men with a baseball bat. After the attack the man got back in his car and drove away.
A witness reported seeing a man following the two men shortly before they were attacked, talking on his mobile phone.
Satnam Singh's cause of death was given as being due to bronchial pneumonia and a head injury.
