Kacem Mokrane was stabbed in Mount Pleasant Road, Walthamstow on Thursday 16 November 2017 at about 11.15pm.
He was taken to hospital but died four days later on Monday 20 November 2017. He had been stabbed in the stomach.
when he was found it was said that his intestines had been spilling out onto the street and that doctors had operated on him for three days until the decision was made to turn off his life-support machine.
His post mortem gave his cause of death as multiple organ failure following a stab wound.
The police had been called to Mount Pleasant Road at about 11.15pm following reports of a group of males armed with weapons in the street and they arrested five people on suspicion of murder but nothing more is known.
It was later reported that he was attacked because he had refused to get involved with a gang.
