Kamil Biecke

Age: 34

Sex: male

Date: 8 Dec 2018

Place: Maple Road, Luton, Bedfordshire

Kamil Biecke is missing and it is thought that he might have been murdered due to his heavy gambling lifestyle.

He was last seen in Maple Road at the junction with Shaftsbury Road in Luton on 8 December 2018 at 1.30am.

He was reported missing by his estranged wife in Poland six days after he was last seen after she became worried after not hearing from him for some time.

He was considered missing until June 2019 when a murder investigation was opened after extensive searches failed to find him alive.

He had been a former professional footballer, having previously played for Baltyk Gdynia as a goalkeeper in Poland in 2013. He came to the United Kingdom in 2016.

The police said that they thought that he had been involved in drug-related activity and to have had gambling debts. The police appealed for anyone that knew him through Luton-based casinos or betting shops to come forward.

They said that there had been no telephone or banking activity in his bank accounts since he was last seen.

In December 2020 the police said that they had made sophisticated and extensive searches at a property in Luton as part of their investigation into his disappearance.

The police said that they thought that he might have met a violent end. They said, 'We are concerned that his associations may have caused him to end up in trouble, which could simply mean he has tried to leave this lifestyle, or more worryingly, that he has met a violent end'.

They said that they felt that the key to finding out what happened to Kamil Biecke lay in the local community.

He had had links to Cambridgeshire, Milton Keynes and Scotland.
