The body of a newly-born child was found in a Southern Railway carriage at Tubs Hill Station in Sevenoaks.
It was found by three small children. The doctor said that he thought that the child might have been still born about three days earlier and said that there were no marks of violence on its body.
A foreman at the station said that when he went to see the child, he found it wrapped up in a brown paper bag.
He said that the train was the 6.51pm train from Holborn and that it had stopped at every station en-route.
An open verdict was returned.
