The body of a newly-born female child was found in a brown paper parcel in the hollow trunk of a tree at Junction Playing Fields in Stourbridge.
The body was found by a 15-year-old boy.
The post-mortem stated that the child was fully developed and had been born about 14 days before the post-mortem and that there were no marks of violence, concluding that the child had died from lack of attention at birth.
