The body of a newly-born female child was found on a train at Cleethorpes on the 2.25pm train under the seat of a third class compartment.

It was in a large parcel wrapped up in newspaper.

Death was said to have been due to lack of attention at birth.

The train had come in from New Holland.

An open verdict was returned.
