Mary Goble and Robert Goble died in a fire at their home.
The police said that the fire had been started with petrol.
The family had gone to bed at about 1.30am on 3 February 1983.
Shortly after, at about 3.45am the parents were woken up by a fire in the house. The father went to get the children but was unable to reach them.
