The body of Peter Reynolds was found propped up against some garden railings in Milmar Road, Reading, on the night of Tuesday 14 October 1947.
He head had been wedged in some spiked railings.
A doctor’s theory at his inquest on 18 October 1947 was that Peter Reynolds had felt faint, clutched the railings and died.
A verdict of death by misadventure was returned.
He had lived in King’s Road, Reading.
