Abdirashid Mohamoud

Abdirashid Mohamoud was stabbed in Union Lane, Isleworth on Friday 22 March 2019 at about 10.35pm.

Several people were arrested on suspicion of his murder but no further details are known. They were:

1. 22-year-old man, arrested shortly after.
2. 23-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday, 13 February 2020.
3. 22-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, 14 February 2020.
4. 23-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, 14 February 2020.
5. 42-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice on Friday, 14 February 2020.

A 33-year-old engineer said that he had seen Abdirashid Mohamoud being attacked by two people, one of whom was wearing a mask. He said, 'They were kicking him, but it was dark so it was hard to see exactly what was happening'.

It was thought that he had been in Syon Park shortly before at about 10.30pm with some friends and that he had been chased by a group of men that had got out of a vehicle into Union Lane where he was then stabbed outside a block of flats.

An ambulance was called out but he was declared dead at the scene. His post mortem showed that he died from stab injuries.

Abdirashid Mohamoud was from the Brentford area.
