The body of a newly-born child was found in a bonnet box in a train from Glasgow to Euston, London.
The cardboard bonnet box was discovered on the rack of a third-class carriage of a train from Glasgow that had reached Euston at 6.30am on Saturday 18 November 1905. It was not opened immediately but taken to the lost property office where it was opened on the Wednesday and the body found.
