The body of a newly born child was found in a wood near Corley.
It was found wrapped in rags in a cardboard box at the foot of an oak tree by a farm worker.
The police said that the box and wrappings offered no clues as to the identity of the child or baby and that their investigations had revealed nothing.
The pathologist said that the child had weighed 5lb 9oz and that in his opinion was still born.
