Duncan Ferguson was knocked down and killed on the A96 near Conglass Farm in Inverurie at about midnight on Saturday 18 March 1989 by a car that didn't stop.
It was thought that he had been hit as he was walking home following an evening out in Inverurie.
The police said, 'Somebody knows they have done this. How anyone could drive on, leaving this man dead or dying, is beyond me'.
