The body of a newly-born female child was found in a ditch beside the Ditton Road in Datchet on Good Friday, 23 March 1951.
It was found wrapped up inside a piece of bedsheet which was inside a brown paper carrier bag.
It was thought that it had been thrown there from a car.
It was thought that the child had lived for a time.
