Harry Llewellyn Oliver was found dead in his Nissen hut on 11 March 1952.
Neighbours said that when the police broke into his hut late on the Tuesday 11 March 1952 that they found a patch of blood by his head.
He was a bachelor and had lived alone in his Nissen hut on a former anti-aircraft site near Bath Racecourse with eight cats and was described as a recluse.
Nothing more is known.
