Peter Craven was found dead in his home in Oxford Street, Grimsby on 14 August 2018 at about 11.20pm.
He had lived in a ground floor flat in Oxford Street. He had been assaulted and had suffered a head injury from which he died.
He was found dead in his living room.
Three men were arrested in connection with his murder.
However, in August 2020 the police said that they were launching a fresh investigation into his murder, it being reported that no one had been charged with his murder to date.
Peter Craven had been a DJ although it was thought that he had been homeless at times and was a regular visitor to Harbour Place, a homeless centre in Grimsby where outreach workers had helped him to find his accommodation in Oxford Street in 2018.
The centre manager at Harbour Place said, 'Peter used to come into us. He was a decent guy. He had been homeless and rough sleeping and so we got him accommodation about six months ago. He never gave us any problems. It is a sad thing. He was well known to outreach workers and we were working with him for a while and ensured he got regular meals'.
He had previously lived in Garibaldi House, Grimsby.
