James Wilson

James Wilson was found dead in the Ribble Estuary.

An open verdict was returned with the Coroner saying that there was insufficient evidence to show how he came to be in the water.

He had been a dock gate greaser and had lived at 299 Fletcher Road in Preston. He went missing after failing to return home from work at the dock.

After the discovery of his body it was noted that his bicycle was missing and efforts were made to trace it including grappling, searches by boat and with divers but it was never found.
