Kevin Dundon went missing from the ferry Viking Viscount on 21 September 1980.
He was a kitchen worker of the ferry which had been sailing from Zeebrugge in Belgium to Felixstowe when he vanished. He was last seen as the vessel was off the Suffolk coast.
In 2020 the police said that they had spoken to people that they had not spoken to before and said that it looked more likely that he was the victim of foul play.
