The body of a 36-year-old man was found at a house in Lyttleton in Westwood, East Kilbride on the evening of Monday 30 October 2017 at around 8.25pm.

The police had arrived and then left, but they returned the following day for an unknown reason and were said to have smashed the door in and to have gone in and found the man's body. It was also heard that they had questioned locals over the incident, asking them about whether they had seen anything unusual on the Sunday.

The man's cause of death was given as being unexplained.
