Man

A man was found dead at a flat in Fitzwarren Court, Rosehill Close, Pendleton at about 6.30am on Sunday, 30 April 2017.

A 48-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after but nothing more is known.

The man's death was described as suspicious but the last known reports stated that his cause of death had yet to be confirmed. However, the police said that they had launched a murder investigation.

The police had said, 'This investigation is in its very early stages and we are working to establish exactly what happened. We have two people in custody but if you think you have any information which could help us then I would urge you to get in touch'.
