Richard Dyson

Richard Dyson went missing on 17 November 2019.

The police said that they thought that he might have been killed.

Six people were arrested on suspicion of his murder. They were:

1. Man from Barnsley, aged 43, arrested in March 2021.
2. Man from Barnsley, aged 51, arrested in March 2021.
3. Man from Barnsley, aged 68, arrested in March 2021 and rearrested in July 2023.
4. Man from Rotherham, aged 67, arrested in March 2021 and rearrested in July 2023.
5. Man from Barnsley, aged 46, arrested in December 2021.
6. Man from Barnsley, aged 48, arrested in December 2021.

He was seen in CCTV footage at a petrol station on Sheffield Road, Birdwell on 16 November 2019 and last seen by a witness walking along the A6135 Sheffield Road in Hoyland at about 11pm on Sunday 17 November 2019.

He was reported missing by his daughter later on 25 November 2019 after he failed to show up for an arranged meeting.

The police carried out a search for him as well as CCTV reviews and forensic examination of his phone and his three cars.

However, nothing more is known.
