Clarissa May Barrow was found dead in her bath at her flat in Hawkins House, Dolphin Square, London.
She was found in her bath fully clothed in her indoor clothing. It was thought that she had been dead for at least six weeks.
Her post mortem stated that she died from natural causes, however, on the same day it was reported that the pathologist said that he could not rule out foul play.
The police questioned her neighbours after saying that they could not rule out the possibility that she had been murdered.
Clarissa Barrow was a retired civil servant and had lived in what was described as a small three roomed flat in Hawkins House. She was described as a quiet and reserved woman.
