The body of a newly-born child was found in a garden in Sherwood Rise, Nottingham.
The body was found by a tenant at the house when he returned after a two-day absence. It was wrapped up in a sheet.
The pathologist that carried out the post mortem said that the cause of death was blows to the face and that he thought that the child had been dead for between one and two weeks.
