Annabela Kathleen Wallace

Annabela Kathleen Wallace died from an illegal operation in Newbury, Berkshire on 9 February 1957.

Two people, a couple from London Road in Cheltenham, Glostershire, were charged with her manslaughter but nothing more is known.

Anabela Wallace was a State certified nurse and midwife but had been an air hostess for the previous three months and was the daughter of a Bishop Stortford doctor.

She had died at the flat of an American Serviceman in Newbury.
