Jeremy Meneses-Chalarca was stabbed in Market Place near the junction with Oxford Street, London on 8 August 2020 at about 5.38pm.
He was taken to hospital but died about two hours later at 7.33pm.
He was stabbed after a fight between several young men. The fight was said to have been witnessed by a large number of people.
Three 18-year-old men were arrested after they went to hospital with superficial stab injuries, but no one was charged.
It was suggested that he had been attacked in a revenge gang attack involving feuding London gangs.
