Blessing Olusegun

Blessing Olusegun was found dead on the beach at Bexhill.

Her death was deemed as non-suspicious but 31,000 people signed a petition calling on the police to establish how she died.

Her post mortem showed that she drowned, but the petition noted that when she was found she had her shoes and phone near her.

She had been a business student from Southeast London and had gone to Bexhill on a one-week placement as a carer.

She was last seen near the beach in CCTV walking around at about 1am on 18 September 2020. She was found a few hours later dead on the beach at 6.20am.

Her shoes and phone were found near her body.
