The body of a newly-born female child was found in Randolph Gardens, Maida Vale, London.
The doctor said the cause of death was due to the combined effects of strangulation and fracture of the skull, simultaneously. He said that it had been born about 48 hours before he examined it.
The jury returned a verdict of wilful murder against some person or persons unknown.
