Man

A man was found dead inside Talbot Road railway tunnel at Didsbury.

His identity was unknown but he was described as having been aged about 60 and to have had light brown hair and a sandy moustache.

He was found to have had a single Didsbury to Manchester Central rail ticket on him.

Other clues regarding his identity were stated to have been a laundry mark on his shirt and a heart and anchor tattoo with the initials DLM on his left arm.

The police questioned staff at Didsbury station in an effort to identify him but without success.
