Anthony Ferns died after being assaulted and stabbed in his car in Crebar Street, Thornliebank at about 10pm on Thursday 18 April 2019.
He had been attacked whilst sat inside his blue Audi A3 car, but had afterwards managed to drive back to his home in Roukenburn Street which was nearby where an ambulance was called for, but he died there in front of his mother in his front garden.
He had been stabbed in the neck.
The man that stabbed him was seen to run off from the scene.

In September 2023 four men were charged in relation too his murder, although its not clear if they are the same men, but the ages are all about 4 years advanced:
They appeared at the High Court in Glasgow on 4 July 2024.
The police said that they had interviewed more than 600 people as well as examining thousands of hours of CCTV. A stop and interview operation was also carried out on Thursday, 25 April 2019.
It was thought that he might have been set up and lured to Crebar Street as he had not lived in Roukenburn Street for some time.
Anthony Ferns was described as a gentle giant. He had worked as a tiler. He had been single and had no children.
