The body of a baby was found in Manor Park, Aldershot on Friday 19 May 2017.
It was found by a ground maintenance worker whilst clearing shrubbery beds in the park not far from the footpath by the A323 Ash Road near Kwik Fit.
The police said that they thought that the child had been left in the park sometime between 6pm on Monday 15 May and 8am on Tuesday 16 May 2017.
They said that the child had been born near the park and had then died as a result of deliberate head injuries.
