Laurence Bernard Henderson

Laurence Bernard Henderson was found dead in a culvert near St George's Road, Hightown on Wednesday 6 January 1960.

He was last seen on Boxing Day night, 26 December 1959.

It was heard that he had been seen drinking in the Pheasant Inn in Hightown up until closing time on 26 December 1959 after which it was said that he had left for home but he never arrived. He had had two pints of beer and had appeared to be quite normal and in his usual good health.

An open verdict was returned at his inquest in Waterloo on 9 January 1960.

Laurence Henderson had lived at 16 Collins Street in Bootle.
