Thomas Carter was found dead in a moat.
His body appeared as if it had been thrown into the water after death and the evidence showed that he had not died from drowning.
He was found lying in six inches of water and the back of his head and the heels of his boots were high and dry.
A man from Windsor was arrested in connection with his death but later released, saying that he had left Thomas Carter in Windsor.
Thomas Carter was later seen alone near the place where his body was found and it was said that there was no sign of a struggle by the moat side and no signs of violence about his body.
The Jury at his inquest returned a verdict of 'Found dead'.
